Got an awesome picture to show the community but you don't know how? Easy! Just follow these simple instructions to help you show off your pride and achievements!
Step 1) Taking the picture!
You can take the picture one of many ways.
#1: If you're using the downloaded client, it provides the button: [Screenshot]
When you click that button, it'll take a screenshot of your Client screen. It'll be saved within your [Infinite Scape Client] -> [Screenshots] Folder.
#2: You're using the WebClient or taking a screenshot for someone else or something, what I do is click the [Print Scr] Button on your keyboard near the [Scroll Lock] Key.
Doing so, it will take a picture of your WHOLE screen.
What I do after that is: Open [Microsoft Office PowerPoint] and Right-Click (or Ctrl+v) and [Paste]
You should see the picture you took with [Print Scr], Format picture and click Crop to crop out the sides or just keep it the way it is!
Right-Click the Picture and [Save as Picture..]
That is 2 of many ways to 'Take a picture'.
Step 2: Getting the picture onto the Interweb!
Alright, so you want to get the picture onto the forums, but you can't just yet! You have to get it onto the Internet first. How? Well I'll tell you.
#1) You want to go to [www.photobucket.com] and create an Account or a similar website that hosts pictures and videos.
#2) After creating your account on photobucket or similar website, time to Upload your picture!
2a) Click Upload Image or File.
2b) Find the Picture/Video/Files you want to upload onto Photobucket.
2c) Click on the file, and Upload!
#3) Now you wait for your file to Upload onto Photobucket...
#4) And Voila! Your picture is now shared through the internet!
Step 3: Finalizing onto the Forums!
Alright! If you're on this step now, good job! You're almost done!
You got your picture on the internet, and now you're ready to show off!
#1) On Photobucket, Click the picture you want to share with the forums community.
#2) Click [Direct Link] and copy the link in the space of [Direct Link]. (Even though it says copied, I would copy it
again just in case.)
#3) Now, onto the [FORUMS].
#4) Create a topic, Type some stuff, and to add the picture:
4a) Click the picture of Mona Lisa under the "B" in between where you're typing and "Message Icon:".
4b) This should open something that says like: "[.IMG] and [./img]"
4c) Paste (right-click Paste or Ctrl+v) between the [.IMG] and the[./img]
#5) When you're done with your text, click post.. and..
Step 4: Complete!
You're done! Enjoy!
